Susan, I really enjoyed this video. I can relate to everything that you were saying about TRYING………instead of trying, We need to just get out there and do it, or make it happen !! I had been ” trying ” to get a honeymoon booked for my hubby & I……….for the past 3 years !!! I’ve had a lot of health conditions, surgeries, not feeling well enough to travel standing in my way. As of recently…. I decided that I’ve been feeling half way decent…….So- I went ahead and booked a ” honeymoon vacation ” to Punta Cana D.R. for next month !! I feel absolutely WONDERFUL about my decision !! After listening to this today on ” TRYING”- it ALL made alot of sense to me. Just thought I’d share that with you!! Aloha & Have a GREAT day. Hello Susan,
Try Not really resonated with me. I have been working on this process and by eliminating this type of thinking allowes me to “be in the moment”. This was a very important step for me on my journey. Thank you for sharing !
    Namaste!

Aloha Melissa, Andrea, Carol and Cheryl. Thanks for taking time to comment.

The concept of trying is such an important one. I never realized how severely I limited myself by trying things out instead of doing, setting my intent clearly and taking action. The major ‘problem’ with our filter system is we can’t easily see our filter system because we see life through our filter system.

So notice how often you use the word try and see what happens. As yoda says, “Try not. Do or do not. There is no try.”

    With love and aloha,
    Susan

    Hello Susan,
Another timely video! I’ve never looked at “trying” in that way before – isn’t the that filter a “clever” thing! I’m off to NOT try but to DO – thanks very much – that has really helped me on my way.

  7. Susan says:

It is amazing how powerful our choice of words really is. Trying in no way implies actually doing. When I think ‘I don’t want’ I have to focus on what I don’t want in order to not want it. Whatever I focus my attention on I get more of, so i get more of what I don’t want.

Playing with words and watching what they create in our life is a wonderful exercise, especially when we do it with curiosity, gentleness and love.

    With love,
    Susan

Yeah.. I feel that this is true for me too. I understand the common sense. Just Like Don Miguel Ruiz once said ” Dont Try.. Do it “.. Many Warriors DIE TRYING. Do it take the action. This quotes will stay with me and I am happy that I am sharing with all of you today. Thank you and Unconditinal Love.

  10. Susan says:

I decided to use technology to help people experience personal freedom. I know some people who tried to do that. It certainly works much better when we decide to do something rather than try something!

Thanks Elliot and Dawn for taking the time to comment.

With love and a big smile,
    Susan
