This is great! Thank you so much for sharing. As always, you’ve sent me just what I needed.
I will become “Grandma Daycare” in the fall, and I’m excited to be able to enjoy my grandson as he learns and explores the world.
What an inspiration for us all… and an adorable puppy!
Thanks Susan!
Aloha, Susan: I just turned 53 last month and I still have a sense of awe and wonder especially when I commune with Nature, Who seems to follow me wherever I go. I even see my death as an inevitable adventure yet to come. Thank you so much for all you do for so many…
Bouncy-Bouncy-Bouncy! (grin)
Aloha Susan,
thank you for sharing your furry companions with us !
Thank you for encouraging us to dance towards love.
Thank you for being part of my life.
dogs are angels in disguise. they are magically and authentic and full of joy always in the now.
Hello Susan, is that really a dog! I can now see why people fall in love with peks – what a delight. On a different note, watching this I have at least two levels of conflicting feeling/thoughts! I agree totally with each person choosing how to view the world. Then all the sad stuff from the news seeps in & says hang on – what about that little girl who was abducted 2 years ago, that child who died of abuse, those suffering physical trauma across the world. I can rationalize that out of their suffering comes lessons/improvements for the whole of humanity. How can this all be part of the same world – it’s wonder & goodness balanced against the real physical dangers of living here? Many Thanks.
Dear Sussan,
Thank you for a nice video
)
Little doggy shows a good example of a gentle and loving exploration of the World, that all of us can have
Thank so much for all your impulses that you send to us, so we could be more loving and expanding in our spirit each day
))
she seems to have a great and serene teacher.
Tank you !

Aloha Susan, I really missed your videos the last couple of days – and this is a special one, thank you. What a great idea to start into a new world, discover a new world, every day and dare and try and do whatever you feel like – without our old beliefs, experiences, point of views, … You are really a true teacher, thx.
What a beautiful video, Susan. Thank you so much for producing this as I look forward to the next video. I loved it so much that I joined Vimeo just so I could post it on my Facebook wall for all my friends to view. Minty reminds me of my little puppy, a YoChon (Yorkie/Bichon), Sadie, who is only 4 months old and weighs about 4 lbs. Your video changed the way I now look at her “mischief.” They’re so much in the NOW, sucking up every bit of juice life offers in every moment. And when they greet you at the door…WOW!! … all that unconditional love just pouring out in running to you and licking your face all up. We sure can learn a lot from them. Namaste!
What a nice surprise to wake up all your wonderful comments. All your wonderful comments! Thanks Jacy, Cynthia, Talking Cloud, Amanda, Stephanie, Paula, Sandra, Evalda and Doris.
Meredith, inevitably when I talk about perspective and love and perfection and dominion people ask me about the abused children and point out that it is an unsafe world. So thanks for bringing up that topic!
Of course, if I see a child being abused I take action and even as I take that action I see the perfection in the whole spiritual dance. I ‘rescue’ animals and rather than focus on the abusers I focus on the love and the magic of finding a new friend. I support organizations that provide free spay and neuter programs. How I think about all that stuff shapes my world and in a smaller sense the world ‘out there.’
With each thought I am either projecting love or fear (judgment is fear). Whatever I focus my attention on I get more of. So thinking about all the ‘bad’ stuff out there creates more of the same ‘bad’ stuff.
If instead I love this wonderful creation called physical reality, where we can all create what we want, I am focusing on love and creating more of that.
The world is perfect. There are places for people who feel the need to create car bombs and places for people to experience peace. There is room for it all.
Question is do you want to be happy or right? Do you need them to stop doing what they want to do in order for you to feel safe and loved and overjoyed at this wonderful amusement park called life? Or are you willing to open up to the love and perfection just as it is?
And Dave, you’re right they sure are great teachers about love and being totally in the moment!
With love and aloha,
Susan
Susan,
I just want to say thank you so much for the guidance and insight you provide. I have a friend who is a Reiki healer and a few years ago he noticed that I was unhappy and just restless in general about everything, though I had no reason. He said he saw the goodness and light in me, and I just had to find it in myself. He went out and bought me a copy of the Four Agreements, The Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior (and the second story about the Peaceful Warrior that I can’t remember the name of), Biography of a Yogi, and the Prophet.
When I read the Four Agreements, I literally cried at how much of a weight I felt had lifted. I have read and enjoyed the other books, but the Four Agreements is always with me (bedside and in car) for when I need them. I am finding that I struggle a little bit (ok, a lot) with retaining that feeling of peace and connectedness that I get when I am aware and free. It is so easy, SO EASY, for me to get back into my little patterns and ruts and find myself feeling withdrawn, grumpy and sometimes just hateful, and I am constantly having to start over. It was during one of these times when I realized I had gotten off track that I found your podcast, and I use it regularly as a reminder to “not live in my thoughts” (my major downfall), and that I am not a lone island floating in a giant sea. It is hard, sometimes very hard, and your podcasts and videos have made such a difference. They have saved many days for me, especially when I am at work (in which case you have saved my coworkers from me as well!).
Anyway, I just want you to know how much you help me daily and that I can’t wait to reach the point that you have reached in this ongoing journey.
I will get there!
Thank you.
Alicia

Each time I read one of your e-mails, or listen to one of your meditations, or watch this happy little video, I slowly begin to understand. Thank you so much.
Thanks Alicia, Cheryl, Ann-kathrine and Christine. I find these videos are a simple, easy and effortless way to remember just how awesome we really are. The information gets into our brain and washes out those old limiting thoughts before our filter system realizes what’s happening!
So watch on!!!!!! For all who wondered, that little fur ball is a little girl. She was named by the breeders grand daughter for the Girl Scout cookies. Funny, the mint cookies were always my favorite. Go figure.
I sign my e mails with different sayings, this one seems most appropriate.
With love and aloha,
Susan
“This stuff seems like brainwashing,” said the student.
“Your brain needs washing,” replied the teacher.

Hi Susan,
Thanks so much for the answer. It must have been just what I needed as I have given myself a “reiki refresher” & feel much uplifted.
I look forward to your next installment, whatever that may be.
I’ve heard the 1st cuckoo of the year so summer is well & truely announced.
Loved the video! Minty reminded me of one of our dogs my daughter got when she was 11. Chelsea came to us only about 4 weeks old or so. She was part Keshond and Shepherd and looked like a minature baby bear! And yes, she was extremely curious and a really free spirit, the perfect companion for a preteen. We have many animals, doves, dogs, cats, and the wild birds and hummers I feed daily. They are wonderful teachers! The love and trust us implicitly and are faithful companions, friends, and protectors. My life would not be the same without these special spirits who accompany me through this life walk. Thank you for sharing Minty with us and reminding us to stay young at heart and trusting of the process of life. Namaste! Meera
Only today was I able to view this entire video without my dial-up connection to internet being cut off. What a treat !!! I love that little dog so much, hopping along so happily, maybe she thinks she is a bunny rabbit !!!
Anyway this whole piece brought me back some 25 years back, when my son was a toddler, and I was struck by the similarity, between dog and small child…
I remember how EVERY morning, my son could not wait to get up and greet the new day with utmost glee, and would waddle over to the very same crate full of the very same toys, day after day after day, and “discover” each one of those same old toys, as if for the first time, with full curiosity and joy.
I remember thinking then, how our little children are the best teachers of living in the Now, and that was long before Eckhart’s book The Power Of Now was published.
Thank you Susan, for this gorgeous piece. Your dogs are so fortunate to have you in their life! I wouldn’t mind coming back as a puppy if you’d have me !!!!
Love, Charmin
